Cold Creek
The goal was "somewhere we won't die in the heat". I'd say this was the best place, considering it was only 85 degrees in the middle of July. But windy. This area every time I have been there is super windy.
Shooting right before a monsoon hit, we watched the rain start falling on top of those mountains in the background. Stray droplets on the wind hit us, that fresh wet smell along with it. This session felt exactly how it looks: moody-monsoony-cozy weather. Aubrey of course picked the perfect warm neutrals for her family which brought this cooler moody session that little bit of summer warmth. Deep blue skies, grey clouds and lush greenery. Couldn't have asked for a better respite from the miserable July city weather!
